Squirrel Monkeys Walk It Off for 38th Win of Season
Despite a fine performance by designated hitter Jon Himes, the Sacramento Redlegs lost to the Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys, 4-3. Himes went 3-5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times. Syracuse reliever Korbin Dallas picked up the win, raising his record to 3-0. Félix Hernández was tagged with the loss. Syracuse is now 38-28.

The game ended with a bang. In the bottom of the ninth, with Syracuse trailing 3-2, George Mayes jumped on a 1-2 curveball from Félix Hernández for a 2-run home run, sending the Squirrel Monkeys to a walk-off win.

"It's great to see the crowd jacked up," Mayes said.
