The Hialeah Dodos got a superb performance from pitcher Ricardo Corona, but the Salt Lake City Buzz still won the game, 4-3. Corona threw 5.2 innings of 3-hit ball. The third-place Buzz are now 31-26, the Dodos 23-34.
The Buzz relied on third baseman Andrew Rijerkerk for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the tenth, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.
"Our team showed some resilience," said Rijerkerk.
