The San Mateo Dirty Reds racked up a win at The Voodoo Lounge, bumping off the New Orleans Voodoo, 4-2. Jeremy Brody, who started for San Mateo, pitched effectively for his team. Monte Evans earned the save for San Mateo, his 1st. San Mateo is now 23-21, while New Orleans is 22-22.

San Mateo used the clutch hitting of Kawenaula Alohalani to snag the win. The third baseman drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Dirty Reds ahead, 4-2. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a crucial one.

After the game, San Mateo manager David Dodds applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
