Reynaldo Cruz knocked in 5 runs to help Sacramento beat Syracuse, 7-1. The designated hitter collected 1 single, 1 double, and 1 home run. Sacramento pitcher Yun-fat Ju got the win, upping his record to 1-0. Michael Galloway got the loss. The 7th-place Redlegs are now 24-27, the Squirrel Monkeys 31-20.
