The Hamilton Thunderbirds topped the Milton Dogfish Head, 5-3, in M3L Triple A action at Milton Corner Tavern. The standout performance belonged to Hamilton pitcher and Somerset, Kentucky, native Ethan Morse. With the win, Hamilton raised its record to 49-37.

Greg Erwin, who is tied for 2nd in the 3AAA in stolen bases with 22, helped out the Hamilton cause in the top of the fifth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the right fielder went 3 for 5 with a double and 2 singles.

Morse told the Hamilton Gazette: "Win or lose, I don't want to see our team outhustled."
