Silvio Capitanio added some punch to the Syracuse offense, helping them outmuscle the Sacramento Redlegs, 12-10. In the game, Capitanio went 4-5 with 2 home runs and a double. He scored 3 runs and drove in 6. Yoichibei Maekawa earned the win after being called from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 3.1 innings. He upped his record to 1-1. Syracuse is in last place in the Premier AAA with a record of 10-17.

Capitanio's nice game included a clutch run-scoring single in the bottom of the seventh.
