A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Syracuse Starks and Sacramento Redlegs.

Silvio Capitanio was instrumental in his team's 9-2 triumph over the Sacramento Redlegs. The left fielder went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 2 for the Syracuse Starks. The winning pitcher was Jake Mitchell. He's now 3-2. He went 6.2 innings, allowing 1 run on 6 hits for the Starks.

Capitanio had a key at-bat for Syracuse early in the game. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and gave Syracuse an early 2-0 lead.
