Michael Galloway never let the Redlegs get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his fastball, to pitch the Squirrel Monkeys to a win, 4-1. At 17-6, Syracuse is in first place in the Premier AAA.

Had Markus Anderson not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Anderson hit a 2-run double. That made the score 3-1, in favor of the Squirrel Monkeys.

Galloway called the triumph "a good team win."
