Rainbow Mermaids Lose to White Walkers, 6-2
|
Behind an impressive start by Rafael Trujillo, Buffalo beat Northern Virginia, 6-2. The losses continue to mount for Northern Virginia, which has now dropped 8 in a row.
Buffalo used the timely hitting of Rubén Nuañez to capture the win. The left fielder socked a grand slam home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the White Walkers ahead, 6-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.
"We'll kick back tonight and enjoy this win," said Trujillo.
