The Hamilton Thunderbirds beat the Milton Dogfish Head, 7-4, at Coyote Wildlife Refuge. Hamilton left fielder Austin Kirkpatrick had an outstanding performance. He was 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. Picking up the win was Ethan Morse. He went 5.1 innings, allowing 1 run on 4 hits. The right--hander struck out 3 and walked 3. José Trujillo sewed up the save, his 16th.

Jaicus Saracho had an important at-bat with one out in the bottom of the fourth, when he hit a 2-run home run. His 11th home run of the season put Hamilton on top, 3-1.
