The Sunset District Fog beat the Port Huron Blitzkrieg, 8-2, at Port Huron Park. The Fog got a fine performance from first baseman Tom Hancock, who was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Thomas Rivers finished the game for Sunset District and earned his 7th save. The first-place Fog have a one-game lead in their division.

Sunset District used the clutch hitting of Robert Harper to capture the win. The second baseman drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Fog ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a big one.
