Getting a good performance from center fielder Derrek Guthrie, the Nolensville Knights defeated the Port Huron Blitzkrieg, 5-3. Guthrie went 1-2 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Knights. With the win, Nolensville pushed its record to 32-29.

Guthrie had a timely hit for Nolensville in the bottom of the sixth. With Port Huron trailing 3-2, he turned a 1-2 slider into a 3-run home run. It was his 7th home run of the season, making it 5-3, Nolensville.

"Enjoyed this one," Guthrie told the Nolensville Times. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
