Squirrel Monkeys Need Extra Innings to Top Brass, 5-2
The Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys topped the Baton Rouge Brass by the score of 5-2, with the biggest share of the credit going to pinch hitter Stone Wright. Wright was 1 for 1 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Squirrel Monkeys on the day. With the win, Syracuse lifts its record to 12-5.

Wright dealt the big blow in the bottom of the 12th. That's when he launched a 3-run home run off Baton Rouge pitcher Joonas Noronen to win it for the Squirrel Monkeys.

"It's great when the crowd is energized," Wright said.
