The Nolensville Knights got a sterling performance from pitcher Vicente Medina, but the Port Royal Disaster still prevailed, 5-3. Medina threw 5.1 innings of 3-hit ball. Arthur Stevenson, the winner, goes to 2-3. He allowed 3 runs on 4 hits, with 4 walks and 3 strikeouts over 5.1 innings. Batu Khan earned the save for Port Royal, his 14th.
Port Royal used the timely hitting of Brad Brown to capture the win. The second baseman socked a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Disaster ahead, 5-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.
"I like the roll we're on," said Port Royal manager Austin Case.
Port Royal has now won 4 straight.
