Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Sunset District Fog got the win.

The Sunset District Fog picked up a win at Psychos Ballpark, knocking off the Florida Men, 4-2. Starting pitcher Jason Kofod was a big reason why. Kofod got the win, improving to 7-2. He allowed 5 hits and walked 3 over 7 innings. Kofod allowed 2 runs. Dave Becker closed the door for Sunset District, picking up his 7th save of the year.

Sunset District used the clutch hitting of Jim McDermott to capture the win. The second baseman drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Fog ahead, 4-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said Kofod.
