Port Huron Blitzkrieg starter Yuan Thian turned in a sterling performance against the Pawnee ParksNRec, leading his team to a slim 3-2 win. Thian got the win, improving to 4-0. He allowed 4 hits and walked 0 over 6 innings. Thian allowed 2 runs. Port Huron, at 21-29, sits in 9th place in the Menard's AAA.
The ParksNRec had been locked in a 2-2 tie with the Blitzkrieg going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 24-year old second baseman Danny Warren came to the plate. Warren hit a run-scoring double on a 2-2 fastball from Pawnee hurler Tom Thornton. It was Warren's 7th double of the year.
