Disaster Tag Red Pandas with 4-1 Loss
|
The Port Royal Disaster defeated the Sioux Falls Red Pandas, 4-1, in M3L Triple A action at The Bamboo Forest. Port Royal pitcher Juan Delgado had a standout performance. At 27-21, Port Royal is in 4th place in the Menard's AAA.
Port Royal relied on the bat of Esteban Burr to get the win. The right fielder ripped a solo home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Disaster ahead, 2-1. For the game, Burr had 1 double and 1 home run in 3 at-bats.
Delgado said his team "executed a good game plan."
