Red Pandas Hang 4-1 Loss on Men
|
Sioux Falls and Florida duked it out and the Red Pandas came out victorious.
The Sioux Falls Red Pandas beat the Florida Men, 4-1, at Psychos Ballpark. Starting pitcher Dave Newman was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. The win makes Sioux Falls 24-20.
In the top of the first, Gaballah Murunga ambushed a 2-2 fastball from Pedro Negrón and hit a 2-run home run. It gave Sioux Falls a quick 2-0 lead.
"Good pitching, clutch hitting," said Sioux Falls skipper Leslie Brooks. "I can't complain."
