Disaster Deal Rocks 3-0 Loss
|
In a low-scoring tilt between the Port Royal Disaster and the Plymouth Rocks, Rubén López was the difference-maker. The Port Royal left-hander spearheaded the 3-0 win. The save was credited to Batu Khan, his 3rd. With the victory, the Disaster upped their record to 20-11.
Port Royal used a well-timed hit by Javier Villanueva to capture the win. The third baseman socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Disaster ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.
"Our goal is to improve each and every day," López told the Port Royal Daily.
