A 3-RBI performance from right fielder Harry Cox, who is rated as the 99th best prospect by BNN, led the Port Huron Blitzkrieg to a win over the Sioux Falls Red Pandas, 11-8. Steve Sanford, who went 5.1 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 4 runs on 6 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 7. His record now stands at 3-2. With the win over Sioux Falls, the Blitzkrieg improved to 9-14.

The Blitzkrieg got an important contribution from shortstop Samual Kingman, who in the bottom of the fourth punched a 1-0 curveball into center for a 2-run double. It was his 7th double of the season and put the Blitzkrieg ahead, 5-3.
