Sioux Falls rode a decent outing from starter Dave Newman to victory over the Florida Men. The final score was 5-2. Todd Jackson got the save, the 1st for him this season. The Men drop to 5-9.

With Sioux Falls leading 2-1 in the bottom of the third, Ed Reilly hit a run-scoring single off Florida pitcher Pedro Negrón. It put the Red Pandas ahead 3-1.
