The Hamilton Thunderbirds topped the Port Royal Disaster, 4-0, in M3L Triple A action at Ballpark of Port Royal. The standout performance belonged to Hamilton pitcher and Concord, New Hampshire, native Edgar Morales. Morales, now 2-1, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 6, walking 2, and allowing no runs. Hamilton goes to 9-5 with the win.

The Thunderbirds benefited from an error in the top of the third inning. Hamilton was leading 1-0 when Oliver Jordan hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put Hamilton in front, 2-0.

"Being able to contribute to a win is always a great feeling," Jordan told the Hamilton Gazette.
