8-4 Loss to Rocks Extends Port Huron Losing Streak
The Plymouth Rocks picked up a win at Plymouth Quarry, taking down the Port Huron Blitzkrieg, 8-4. Starting pitcher Natalino Gasco was a big reason why. The Blitzkrieg, now 3-10, continue their slow start.

The Rocks got a big at-bat from third baseman Ricardo Vásquez. For the game, Vásquez went 1-2 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 4th home run of the season gave Plymouth a 2-0 lead.

In comments to the Plymouth Daily News, Vásquez admitted that he doesn't always push himself. "But the results," he said, "speak for themselves."
