The Hollywood Shredders did just enough to secure a victory over the Greenville 84s, 6-5, at 84s Field. Nobody did more than right fielder Tom Smythe. Tom DeHart came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. His record now stands at 4-1. With the win, Hollywood has a record of 12-16. Greenville falls to 15-13.

The outcome might have been different for Hollywood, had it not been for Miguel Bustamante, the top prospect . Bustamante stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put Hollywood up, 6-5. For the game, he was 2 for 4, including 1 double and 1 single.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Bustamante.
