Nolensville Tops Port Huron, 3-1

In a low-scoring tilt between the Nolensville Knights and the Port Huron Blitzkrieg, Chin-yau Tu was the difference-maker. The Nolensville right-hander spearheaded the 3-1 win. Tu got the win, improving to 1-1. He allowed 8 hits and walked 1 over 6 innings. Tu allowed 1 run. Fred Hardy collected his 1st save.
Nolensville used the timely hitting of Ángelo Campos to capture the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Knights on top, 3-1. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but he made it count.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Campos told the Nolensville Times.
With the win, Nolensville climbs to 4-4.
