Blitzkrieg Need Extra Innings to Top Knights, 6-5
The Nolensville Knights got a superb performance from second baseman Cory Blatchford. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Port Huron. The Blitzkrieg won the game, 6-5. Blatchford went 2 for 3 with 2 doubles and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Cristo Sánchez, credited with the win, is now 1-0. He allowed no runs on 2 hits. The win puts Port Huron at 3-4.

The Blitzkrieg procured the win, in large part because of right fielder Harry Cox. In the bottom of the tenth, he produced the game-winning run-scoring double.

Cox said afterward that he was "glad the fans were treated to a good ballgame."
