Fighting Dachshunds Come Up Short at Sioux Falls, 4-3
The Sioux Falls Red Pandas picked up a win at The Bamboo Forest, knocking off the Ellenburg Fighting Dachshunds, 4-3. On the mound for Sioux Falls was right-hander Rich Conklin, who played a pivotal role in the win. Jon Phillips earned save number 2 this season. Ellenburg falls to 2-2.

The Red Pandas got a big hit from designated hitter Paul Kelly. In the bottom of the fifth, Kelly pounded a run-scoring double to left. His 1st double of the season put the Red Pandas ahead, 4-2.

"We'll kick back tonight and enjoy this win," said Kelly.
