Red Pandas Snag 11-4 Win
The Port Huron Blitzkrieg inaugurated the 2050 campaign with a disappointing 11-4 loss to the Sioux Falls Red Pandas at Port Huron Park. Sioux Falls right fielder Roberto Flores had a big impact on the outcome. He went 2-4 with 2 doubles. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Sioux Falls reliever Hisham Daud picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Todd Montgomery shouldered the loss.

Sioux Falls used the clutch hitting of Gaballah Murunga to capture the win. The left fielder drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Red Pandas ahead, 5-4. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"It feels good to get this one," Flores told the Sioux Falls Observer.
