Outlaws Top Thunder Bay, 1-0
|
The Nashville Outlaws had to overcome a fine performance from Thunder Bay pitcher Chris Jackson to grab a 1-0 win at Nashville Stadium. Jackson allowed no runs over 6 innings. The Northern Lions BC drop to 3-7 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2050 season.
Nashville won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With no outs and Javier Gallardo on the mound for Thunder Bay, shortstop Chet Davis hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Outlaws fans to their feet.
Davis said his team "played with focus."
