Walk-Off Seals 59th Victory for Patriots

It was pandemonium at Dunkin Donuts Park after an exciting walk-off win.
Boston right fielder Bill Zimmerman had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Ft. Worth Cattlemen, 7-6. Boston reliever Jorge Gil picked up the win, raising his record to 5-2. Jack Buyse was tagged with the loss.
In the bottom of the ninth, with two out and the game tied, 6-6, third baseman Carlos Rivera won it for Boston. With a runner on 2nd, Rivera hit a 2-1 fastball from Jack Buyse for a run-scoring single, giving his team the 7-6 win.
Rivera said this kind of win gives the team "a buzz."
The Silver League-leading Patriots are 59-43.
