Pérez Stretches Hit String to 30 Friday, September 3rd , 2049 MSL New Orleans third baseman Carlos Pérez has extended his hitting streak to 30 straight games with a 2-for-4 day. However, the MSL Ft. Worth Cattlemen took the 10-6 victory over the Voodoo at MSL New Orleans Ballpark. "Disappointing," Pérez said of the outcome. Carlos Pérez flied out in the 2nd, hit an RBI triple in the 4th, flied out in the 6th, walked in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. In 48 games this year Pérez has posted a .345 average and put up these numbers: 2 home runs, 47 RBIs and 54 runs scored. |
