Wednesday, September 1st , 2049
The MSL Echo Park Lakers fell to the MSL Cleveland Browns in MSL Cleveland Ballpark today, even as 17-year-old third baseman Jesús Rosas upped his consecutive-game hitting streak to 25 games. Rosas finished with 1 hit in 5 at-bats, but could not stop the Lakers from dropping the 5-4 decision.
"Yeah, I kept my streak going, but it would have been better to come away with a win," said Rosas. Jesús Rosas hit an RBI double in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th.
So far this season Rosas has hit .383 with 1 home run, 24 RBIs and scored 33 times.
