SMSL's Top Player, Ruíz of MSL Seattle Monday, August 30th , 2049 Alfredo Ruíz is respected by most MSL Seattle Rocketeers fans for his no-frills style of play. The 17-year-old left fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the USSL Mexican Summer League Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .611 average (11-for-18) with no home runs, 6 RBIs and 6 runs scored. This season Ruíz has delivered 96 hits in 188 at-bats for a .511 average with 5 home runs. He is getting on base at a .536 clip and his totals also include 60 RBIs and 55 runs scored. This year Ruíz has played in 42 games. |
