Pérez Has 20-Game Hitting Streak Sunday, August 8th , 2049 Carlos Pérez of the MSL New Orleans Voodoo tagged 1 hit in today's 14-10 loss to the MSL Colorado Billy Goats at MSL New Orleans Ballpark to run his hitting streak to 20 straight games. "I realize it's unlikely to have a 20-game streak and not have a couple losses mixed in," he said later. "But it still takes the fun out of it." Carlos Pérez flied out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th, singled in the 8th and flied out in the 9th. For the year Pérez is batting .337 with 2 home runs, 40 RBIs and 41 runs scored. |
