PMSL Reliever of the Year Award Winner Named

Ho Pang was a calming influence out of the MSL San Mateo Dirty Reds bullpen this season.

His teammates and manager said he had a poised demeanor about him that was typical of someone much older and more experienced. His poise has paid off, as the 17-year-old turned in a sparkling season and has been named the winner of the USPL Mexican Summer League Reliever of the Year Award for 2049.

The Daejeon, South Korea native won the award with 11 saves in 17 relief appearances, 28 strikeouts in 27 innings and a record of 2-1 to go with his 3.00 ERA.

He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Gareth Mansvelt of the MSL Buffalo White Walkers finished second in voting, while Ernest Goodman of the MSL Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids finished third.
