Hes Hitless, Streak Ends at 46 Thursday, September 2nd , 2049 The MSL Nova Scotia Leviathin pitching staff did its job today, holding hot-hitting Barry Hes hitless in 5 at-bats during the club's 11-4 victory over the MSL Baltimore Bullets at MSL Nova Scotia Ballpark. The disappointing performance ended a 46-game hitting streak for the shortstop. "I'm a little down right now," Hes said after the game. "I couldn't get anything going when the team needed me, and I hated to see the streak end, too." So far this season Hes has 6 home runs and a .498 batting average. |
