Hes Sizzles with 46-Game Batting Streak Wednesday, September 1st , 2049 With 2 hits at MSL Nova Scotia Ballpark today, Barry Hes added another game to his hitting streak -- the MSL Baltimore shortstop has now hit safely for 46 games in a row. But the hitting feat wasn't enough for the Bullets today, as they fell, 10-8, to the MSL Nova Scotia Leviathin. "Frankly, I don't care about hits," MSL Nova Scotia manager Joe Wilson said later. "I'll let him get 5 hits in 5 at-bats if it means we get a win." Barry Hes flied out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. In 46 games this season Hes is batting .509 with 113 hits and 6 home runs. He has scored 56 runs and driven in 69. |
