It's Over: Shredders Stop Dixon Tuesday, August 24th , 2049 The Shredders stopped Steve Dixon's 20-game hitting streak today at MSL Hollywood Ballpark, but they couldn't stop the MSL Nova Scotia Leviathin, falling by the score of 10-8. Dixon didn't get a hit for the first time in weeks, finishing 0-for-5. "It's just as well," Leviathin manager Joe Wilson said. "We couldn't spend the whole season going out of our way not to jinx him." Posting a .397 batting average to date, Dixon has 10 home runs and 60 RBIs. |
