Dixon Hits in 20 Straight Games Monday, August 23rd , 2049 Steve Dixon of the MSL Nova Scotia Leviathin tagged 3 hits in today's 12-11 loss to the MSL Hollywood Shredders at MSL Hollywood Ballpark to run his hitting streak to 20 straight games. "I realize it's unlikely to have a 20-game streak and not have a couple losses mixed in," he said later. "But it still takes the fun out of it." Steve Dixon grounded out in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, flied out in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Thus far this year Dixon has hit .407 with 10 home runs and 59 RBIs. |
