Hes Extends Hit Streak to 43 Games Monday, August 23rd , 2049 Barry Hes, shortstop for the MSL Baltimore Bullets, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 43 games with 3 hits in his club's 14-5 victory today over the MSL Buffalo White Walkers at MSL Buffalo Ballpark today. "I don't really know why it's even happening," he said with a grin after the game. "So asking me how long I can keep it up is kind of irrelevant. It'll end when it ends." Barry Hes hit an RBI single in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, hit a two-run single in the 4th, flied out in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. This season Hes has hit 6 home runs and posted a .524 batting average. |
