Steve Crabtree Injured, Out for Year Monday, June 7th , 2049 When Steve Crabtree was hurt against the Long Island Ducks, the Ballard Beavers were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 19-year-old starting pitcher suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Crabtree would miss 9 months of the season. So far this season Crabtree has compiled a 1-2 record with a 3.06 ERA. |
