Capital Hill Gets Rid of Manager Callahan Saturday, September 4th , 2049 Bill Callahan has managed his last game with the Capital Hill Interns. Callahan met with team officials yesterday and his termination was officially announced today in a prepared statement from club general manager Joe Unknown. "Bill Callahan has done an admirable job here, but I think it's time to go in another direction," the statement read. "At the end of the day, we just aren't getting the results we want with Bill and at this point we're willing to try to turn things around with a new manager." A replacement has yet to be named, but a decision is expected to come forward shortly. Team owner The owner of the Capital Hill Interns told BNN that the team had only been contemplating a managerial shift in the past week. Callahan left the clubhouse quietly upon learning the news and refused to comment when pressed by reporters. |
