June's Best Hurler in 3A- is Zhen Thursday, July 1st , 2049 A standout performance in June earned Mao-you Zhen the Pitcher of the Month Award in the M3L Low A. When his name was penciled in to start by the Capital Hill skipper, it meant trouble for opposing teams. For the month the Interns star racked up 3 wins and no losses. In 34.1 innings of work, Zhen limited opposing batters to 26 base hits and a .208 batting average. He notched 36 strikeouts, issued 10 walks and had a 1.57 ERA. To date this season Zhen is 3-5 with 10 starts and an ERA of 3.23 with 64 strikeouts in 61.1 innings. |
