Mandala Collects Player of the Week Award Monday, August 2nd , 2049 USPL Low A pitchers will attest that it was tough to get Kieron Mandala of the Beaumont Crossbeaus out last week. His all-around performance at the plate made him the league's most recent Player of the Week. The 21-year-old shortstop boasted a .391 average with 5 home runs, 7 RBIs and 7 runs scored. Mandala went 9-for-23 for the week. So far this year Mandala is hitting .298 with 17 home runs. |
