Esteban Ocon Sidelined for Season Monday, July 5th , 2049 Esteban Ocon will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Greenport reliever could miss the remainder of the year. Ocon was injured while throwing a pitch in the Harbor Whales-Hounds clash at Hound Pound recently. Doctors said he has a stretched elbow ligament and would be out a minimum of 9-10 months. This season he has made 14 relief appearances, collecting 2 saves. Ocon has worked 28.2 innings, yielding 14 hits and giving out 12 free passes while striking out 40. He has a 0-0 record with a 2.20 ERA. |
