Efremov Wins PAA 2049 Outstanding Hitter Award Friday, October 8th , 2049 At the age of 23, Levka Efremov of the Athletic Club KC Academy could very well have his best years ahead of him. It's a startling thought when you consider the year he had in 2049 was good enough to win the third baseman the USPL Double A Outstanding Hitter Award. "See the ball, hit the ball," he said. "That's my basic approach." The top hitter put up a .282 batting average this year, as well as a .375 on-base percentage. He played 84 games and racked up 94 hits, 24 doubles, 2 triples, 26 home runs, 58 RBIs and 59 runs scored. He received 6 first place votes out of a possible 10. Carlos Blanca of the Minnesota Loons finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Arturo Collazo of the Virginia Beach Whales finished third with 2 first place votes.
