Wallace Top Choice, Wins Outstanding Pitcher Award Thursday, October 7th , 2049 The Minnesota Loons have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It's Todd Wallace, this year's USPL Double A Outstanding Pitcher Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance. Wallace compiled a 13-4 record in 21 starts, tallied 134 strikeouts in 126.1 innings and recorded a 2.28 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .208 batting average against him. He received 7 first place votes out of a possible 10. Dale Williams of the Minnesota Loons finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while Mang Zhong of the Ithaca Fighting Imps finished third.
