Year Over for Whales Esser Thursday, September 16th , 2049 Silvian Esser has to call it a season. The Virginia Beach Whales reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Ithaca Fighting Imps and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Esser was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn rotator cuff and stated that he would not be able to play for 5-6 months. So far this year Esser has been credited with no saves, registered a 4.38 ERA and struck out 11 in 12.1 innings. He also has a 2-0 record. |
