Gulf Coast's Wise PAA's Best Monday, September 6th , 2049 Tim Wise must have thought he was dreaming. First he went on an exceptional week-long batting spree, bashing the ball at a .370 clip, then the Gulf Coast first baseman finds out he has been chosen the league's best performer and gets the PAA Player of the Week Award. He told BNN reporters in the postgame, "It was a great week for me. I could see the ball so well. Plus some of the balls seemed to have good eyes, too." For the week Wise batted .370 (10-for-27) with 4 home runs and 12 RBIs. Looking at his present stats, Wise has compiled a .255 batting average in 95 games with a .308 on-base percentage, while hitting 21 home runs and driving in 76 runs. |
