Himes Wins PAA Best Player Award Monday, August 17th , 2048 His teammates, fans, peers and even the BNN sportswriters all agreed that Jon Himes was worthy of the USPL Double A Player of the Week Award. During the week the Olympia third baseman compiled a .600 batting average (9-for-15) with 5 home runs, 7 runs batted in and scored 7 runs. This season Himes is batting .333 with 18 home runs.
